Aruna Set To Release Second Solo Single ‘Save The Day’ Off Of Black Hole Recordings

Not to long ago, we got to meet the lovely and talented Aruna. Not only is she an incredible person, but most people might now her as one of the biggest trance vocalists in the world. Now Aruna is set to show off her skills again with her next single ‘Save The Day‘ set to be released off of Black Hole Recordings on October 8. Inspiration for ‘Save The Day‘ comes from the moment when you realize that the magic that was in a relationship has gone and faded away and there is no coming back from it. But with this very melodic beat and wonderful production, you wouldn’t think of it as being a break up song. When talking about the song, Aruna said:

It’s like the death of innocence or the loss of hope. One thing I like in particular with this song, though, is the contrast between the title and the actual lyrical content. It sounds so triumphant and heroic when you hear the title but when you actually start digging inside the lyrics, it’s the complete opposite of that.

And that is not the end of it for Aruna, besides being called “one of the most talented singer/songwriters around at the moment” by Tony McGuiness of Above & Beyond, Aruna made history by becoming the first ever solo female DJ to have a guest mix featured on Trance Around The World back on August 31. Since that moment, her bi-weekly podcast, The Hot List, has shot up to #14 on iTunes. On her podcast, Aruna features some of her favorite tunes in progressive and trance, often featuring some of her own mashups and upcoming releases.

The sky is the limit for Aruna as the proof is in the pudding. ‘Save The Day‘ comes out on Black Hole Recordings October 8. Make sure you go and get your copy.
